Greensboro, North Carolina — On May 10, Allie Petrova presented at a panel addressing worker classification at the American Bar Association (ABA)’s Section of Taxation’s 2018 Meeting in Washington, D.C.

Ms. Petrova was a Panelist on a program titled “Worker Classification – the States, IRS and Department of Labor.”  Allie discussed worker classification from a state perspective, recent areas of focus, and case law.

Allie’s extensive background in tax law and business law provides her with the ability to advise her clients on a variety of corporate matters and the tax issues related to those matters.  She regularly works with his business and individual clients to devise strategies to help them minimize their taxes in their business transactions and personal matters.  Allie serves as Vice Chair of the Closely Held Businesses Committee of the American Bar Association’s Section of Taxation and on the Tax Council of the North Carolina Bar Association.
